Our mission
Toronto Pops Orchestra aims to introduce the classical world to bold new varieties of music. We believe the thrill of a live orchestra shouldn't be reserved for the classics of eras ago. From the 2025–2028 strategic plan:
Mission
The Toronto Pops Orchestra presents regularly scheduled orchestral concerts to the general public to further enhance community musical literacy through programming music that people already know and love.
Vision
Our vision is to foster collaboration between Canadian musicians and local concert halls, museums, galleries, artists, and other opportunities to further the education of music through art and community engagement. We want to create more opportunities for local artists to have their musical voices heard throughout our community.
