Having collaborated on songs with chart-topping artists such as Gryffin, Carly Rae Jepsen and bbno$, Yuang Chen, recording as Seycara, is known as one of the most eclectic up-and-coming artists combining the art of classical orchestration with popular genres. He firmly believes the spirit of live classical music has an irreplaceable role in the soundscape of today as well as tomorrow.
Having built a YouTube channel of over 180,000 subscribers for his original music and a Spotify catalogue with 10 million annual streams, Yuang founded the Toronto Pops Orchestra to bring his experience in digital music into live performance. In his spare time, he works as an emergency physician and is a competitive long-distance runner.
Matthew Noah Reyes (a.k.a. seyertam) is a Toronto-based producer, drummer, percussionist, and music industry innovator.
With over 10 million streams across all platforms to his credits, his production work moves between R&B, Japanese city pop, and scoring for children's media and animation, for widely known artists across North America, East Asia, and Europe including Tubby Nugget, KIKIYO, CECILIA, and Peach Luffe.
As a highly in-demand session drummer and percussionist, he has appeared at Toronto Jazz Festival, Japan Festival Canada, and TD Music Hall opening for Keung To, performing regularly with notable names such as the Live Video Game Orchestra and many other Toronto-based groups.
With the Toronto Pops Orchestra, Matthew serves critical roles as both producer and percussionist, building the orchestra's first fully professional season at first-rate venues such as the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and beyond. He is a founder by background, having built a company from zero to a team of 30. Stone He is a Toronto based bassist, keyboardist, composer, and arranger that has performed in a variety of genres including classical, jazz, pop, rock, and funk genres. Stone performs with various groups and orchestras across the Greater Toronto Area, including the Toronto Pops Orchestra, Rosedale Symphony Orchestra, Grange Park Jazz Club, Exit Points, and Orchestre Salon de Musique. In addition, he has performed with small chamber groups and led jazz bands across the Toronto music scene, as well as participating in recording projects on bass and keyboard for various groups.
In early 2024, Stone participated in the first Side-by-Side program organized by Confluence Concerts. In that program, he collaborated with other musicians of different musical backgrounds to plan a concert programme in a span of two weeks. His experience in the program was a critical point in his music journey to explore more in coming up with his own sound and combining musical genres together.
Currently, Stone is a bassist, arranger, and personnel manager of the Toronto Pops Orchestra. Outside of music he also works as a Junior Accident Reconstructionist. Aside from that, he enjoys a variety of interests including tennis, skiing, bouldering, traveling, language learning, and gliding, whenever he finds the time that is.
Francis Humarang
Video Director
Francis Humarang, aka tekustar, is a Toronto videographer and editor whose work spans music videos, live events and commercial productions. He has worked with the Live Video Game Orchestra, the Scarborough Shooting Stars and Wannabe Dance Crew, and likes to stay hands-on from the first shot to the final edit. As the Toronto Pops Orchestra's video director, he shoots the orchestra's promos and ads, films its concerts, and oversees the video for its live shows.
Tania Habib is a Toronto-US-based cinematographer and production designer breaking into the film and commercial industry. Working across camera, lighting, and art departments, her emerging body of work includes project credits with artists like Avenoir and brands such as New Balance. Whether serving as Director of Photography, Gaffer, or Production Designer, Tania brings a detailed, hands-on approach to crafting atmospheric imagery and distinct visual worlds on set.
Uri Mayer is Professor and Director of Orchestral Studies at the University of Toronto. He has guest conducted many of the leading orchestras around the world, including the Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver symphonies, the Israel Philharmonic and the NHK Orchestra in Japan. He was Music Director of the Edmonton Symphony and Orchestra London, and Principal Conductor of the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra in Osaka. Under his direction the Edmonton Symphony won the Grand Prix du Disque-Canada and was nominated for a Juno Award.
He is the founder of #WeTouchGrass / Touch Grass Entertainment, North America and Europe’s largest touring Anime-themed nightclub event. With over $3.6 million in revenue and 100 000+ tickets sold across 40+ cities in their 3.5 years of operation, his goal is to combine two cultures he’s very passionate about (Anime and EDM) in order to create a global community and brand connected by their love of Anime and music.
As an artist and producer, he’s garnered over 10 million streams on his original music, over 500k followers across social media platforms, and over 200 million views across social media showcasing his “sadboi EDM”, mixed in with his love for Anime music. In addition, he’s remixed and co-written with numerous artists, including SkyDxddy, Emily Vu, Cinzia & The Eclipse, F.N., Nodis, Cayley Spivey, Jayde Vincent, and Double A-Ron - to name a few.
Debuting in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, he’s already gone on to perform his signature “Anime Raves sets” to over 60 000 people on the #WeTouchGrass Anime Rave tours, as well as at Anime Expo (Los Angeles), Otafest (Calgary), Otakuthon (Montréal), and UwU Con (Phoenix).
